My project is a 3-D printout of my name with LED lights that change colors. The materials needed to complete this were:
3-D printed name
3 LED lights
red wires
black wires
battery
battery holder
switch
The tools needed were
3-D printer
multiple pliers
solder machine
The most challenging part of the project was getting it done on time. We had a very small time frame to finish. Also I had to switch my project from an electric hand to this. There weren't any times where I didn't expect it to work because it is a pretty straight forward project. Once I was finished my wire snapped so one of the lights didn't work but Mr. Umekubo fixed that. I thought that at the end product was really cool because I got to see my project come to life. I learned how to solder and make a circuit which I didn;t know how to do any of that before. If I had more time or resources I would make it HUGE with tons of lights. I had to try new techniques and strategies to make it work but Mr. Umekubo really helped me a lot.
